Tyler Decker, AWMA^®

Tyler Decker, AWMA®, is a Senior Associate Client Advisor at Steadmont Advisors in Birmingham, AL. He achieved the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ designation through the College of Financial Planning in 2022. Tyler serves an essential role working directly with the client and client advisor to build customized financial plans tailored to fit each clients’ unique needs.

Tyler got his start in the financial advisory sector in 2018. He began as an intern learning the basics of the industry. After his internship he graduated from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Finance. Tyler started his financial career with the Jackson Wealth Management Group at Merrill Lynch. Progressing through roles such client associate, registered wealth management client associate to now being a founding member of Steadmont Advisors who focuses on implementing strategies for clients’ financial goals.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Tyler finds fulfillment in his role as a husband to his wife Leah. He is a proud Alumni of the University of Tennessee Ice Hockey team, and an avid outdoorsman. Whether he is hunting, playing hockey, or traveling with his wife and dog. Tyler is committed to finding joy in all of life’s experiences.
